WHAT TO WATCH ON LOCKDOWN
Hi there!
Since all of this self-isolation and quarantine has started and we are not allowed to leave our houses anymore, I have been stuck behind four walls doing school work, reading, watching Netflix and youtube.
So I want to share some of my favourite movies, series and youtube channels to watch, while we can not do much else.
I'm gonna start with some of my go-to youtube channels.
- Zoe Sugg, I have watched and followed Zoe for over 5 years now. She makes beauty, fashion and mostly lifestyle videos. She makes pretty long vlogs which I love and especially right now it helps me take my mind off things for at least 30 minutes. ( https://www.youtube.com/user/MoreZoella )
- Sophie Louise, she makes mostly testing makeup videos, but also lifestyle and fashion. I love her channel because I can relate to her "nerdy" side and she can always make me smile. ( https://www.youtube.com/user/sophielouisebeauty )
- This Gathered Nest, it's a family of 10, mom, dad and eight kids and I love it because they are such a lovely family and they just vlog and show how life is for them and I really enjoy watching their content. ( https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCJfx4F-W-GYBHaHLMnYzvjg )

Next, I wanna talk about books.
- The one by John Marrs, I have been loving this book, it's a perfect combination of romance and thriller. It follows peoples life after they get their DNA tested to find their perfect match. Some stories are positive and some not so much. The way it's written it's really interesting and it keeps you from putting down the book. - Neighbor Dearest by Penelope Ward, it follows a girl that got her heartbroken. With moving into her new apartment, she also gets a new neighbour. - One Of Us Is Lying by Karen McManus, it's a mystery story set in a high school, where five students attend detention, but only four left. ( https://www.bookdepository.com/One-Of-Us-Is-Lying/9780141375632 )

Next up is my Netflix go to's.
I am not really into all the shows that everyone is watching so...
- Good Place (series), starring Kristen bell, Ted Danson, William Jackson Harper.
A comedy show where a woman named Eleanor dies and goes to the ''good place''. The problems start when she finds out she is there by mistake.

- The Vampire Diaries (series), starring Nina Dobrev, Paul Wesley, Ian Somerhalder.
A fantasy show about vampires, that I am sure you have all herd about before. But if you haven't, it's a bout a highschool girl named Elena, that lost both her parents in a car accident, but things get interesting and very complicated when she falls for Stefan, who is trying to hide the fact that he is a vampire.

- Now you see me 2 (movie), starring Jesse Eisenberg, Mark Ruffalo, Woody Harrelson.
Againg I am sure you have seen this movie before, but this was actually the first time I have seen it and I loved it. If you haven't seen it, it's about a group of four illusionists and are trying to take down a shady taycoon and his tech device.

- Miss Americana (documentary), starring Taylor Swift.
It follows Taylor's life and process of writing her latest album Lover and her struggle in the industry and how to stand up to harassment and how to use her full power of voice.

And I wanted to share a few other series that I like watching that are not on Netflix, but I am sure you can find them online.
- One Chicago, is a compilation of three shows Chicago Fire, Chicago P.D. and Chicago Med. there are also some shows that are connected to them and are a part of Dick Wolf's universe like Law & Order SVU and FBI. Each show is following personal and working lives of their main characters. There are also some crossover episodes, which means all three shows follow the same storyline.
If you like action, drama and romance all in one, I think you should give them a go.

- MacGyver, is a series reboot of 1985 show. It follows a young genius that works for a secret agency and is saving the world with his genious-level engineering, physics, military training in bomb disposal,... I really like it bcause it allows me to bring out my geeky side.
