WHAT I EAT IN A DAY
Hi there! 😊
I have been trying to eat healthy as much as I can lately. I have lost about 10kg ( 22lbs ) so far. But not everything is about food. You have to get some exercise as well if you want to lose some weight or just live a healthier lifestyle. I just so some light exercise at home on my own. A few sit-ups or just a walk do the trick. All you need is a good half an hour of exercise a day.
I am not trying to avoid sweets and unhealthy food, because I love it way too much, so there's no way I could actually give it up, but I am trying to avoid it as much as I can.
I have decided that I'm gonna show you what I eat in a day. I do take my time and cook all the meals or as much as I can, ao I avoid pre-prepared food like frozen meals and stuff like that.
I'm gonna show you what I made a few days ago and maybe give you some inspiration for your next meal.
For breakfast, I decided to make a fruit bowl since I there was a lot of fruit in the fridge that needed to get used before it goes bad. I chopped up one apple and mix it with some grapes and blueberries. With that, I got myself a cup of green tea with jasmine and instead of using sugar I sweetened it with stevia.
For lunch, I made rice with chicken and veggies. First I laid everything on in front of me so I can see what we have. I decided to go with some mushrooms, carrots, red and yellow bell peppers and of course rice and chicken breasts.
First I chopped up some red onions and just roasted them on olive oil just so they turned a light golden color and then I added chopped up chicken breasts. I added some salt, pepper, and paprika to taste, but you can season it however you prefer.
In the meantime, while that was cooking up, I chopped up all the veggies and boiled the carrots so they softened up a bit. I also started on the rice. I added a cup of rice into a cup and a half of water and added a bit of butter.
Once the chicken was done, I removed it from the pan and added in carrots that I previously drained, mushrooms, and bell peppers. I left them on the stove for about five minutes before adding the chicken and leave it cooking for a few more minutes.
In the end, I also added the rice to the pan and mixed everything together. And that's my lunch done.
All throughout the day, I always make sure that I dring enough water. I carry a water bottle with me all the time just so I do not forget to drink it. Mine is a 600ml one and I usually dring 3 or 4 bottles a day, which comes up to 1,8 - 2,4 liters of water.
You should consume around 3l of fluids every day. You do get some water with food but make sure you drink at least 2,5l of water a day, it helps you stay hydrated and also helps your skin get nice and smooth with less or none spots.
So for my dinner, I had a bowl of porridge, that I made with milk, some crushed mixed seeds, I topped it off with some raspberries and blueberries and for sweetness, I drizzled honey on top of it all. I made myself some tea again but this time a mint one, and I put it in a thermal mug because I took it to my room and drank it slowly before I went to sleep.
And that is my ''What I eat in a day''.
I don't really snack during the day, but If I do, I get myself some fruits or unsalted peanuts and that's pretty much it.
I hope you liked this post and maybe it'll give you some inspiration on eating healthy and getting some exercise.
Keep On Dreaming
