SUMMER TRIP TO LONDON
Hi there! 😊
I know I have been MIA for a while, but to be totally honest with you I was quite busy with school and work. But I am back and I promise that I'll post as much as I possibly can, before it's school time again.

So recently I have been to London with my best friend. We spent a week in a lovely house which we rented over Airbnb. If you have not heard of the app, it's an app that lets you book a room or a house to stay pretty much every where in the world you travel to. Or if you have an extra room and you want to make some extra money, you can have other people rent it. It's very simple.
Anyway, we stayed at an amazing house, even though we pretty much only slept there.

There were some things that we were sure we'll go and see, since that was the first time for my friend in London and she hasn't seen much of the city. As for me, that was my third time there, but I always love coming back because I fell in love with London since my first trip a few years ago.
I will just take you through our week, tell you what we saw and where we left most of our money. But keep in mind that in the next few days, I will also post a haul of all the things I bought in London, so keep your eyes peeled for that post. 😉
We have arrived on Thursday at the Luton airport. After that, we had about two-hour long journey to the city center. We bought our oyster cards, which is the best and the cheapest way to travel through London.

After that, we still had about an hour to get to the place where we were staying. Be aware that we had three suitcases that we had to carry with us and let me tell you, the next time I will not pack that much, 'cause dragging all that weight with us, was a pain in the a**.When we got to the place, we just had some dinner and after that, we took a shower and went to bed, since it was a long day behind us.

On a Friday we had booked Madame Tussauds in the morning. I love going there every time that I'm in London, just to see how amazing people are at recreating famous people but in wax. It's amazing. After that, we went to Westminster, where we went on a London Eye. We were planning that for some other day, but since there was pretty much no waiting line we just went for it.The view from there is just amazing. Even though I am not the biggest fan of heights I love the view from up there. In between, we went to get some lunch, but after that, we just went to take a walk through the city.

On Saturday we pretty much just walked around, sometimes just walking around the streets getting to know the city away from the most touristy spots is the best. Mostly on the Oxford street, where, let's be honest, I left most of my money in all the stores. The majority of it was left in LUSH, The Body Shop, and HMV.

On Sunday, we dicidet to go on a boat tour toGreenwich. It was very
spontaneous. When we got off the boat, we found a huge park where everybody had little picnics were just hanging out with each other, so we decided to get some lunch and have our own little picnic and chill time. Honestly, I have never had such a spontaneous trip with anyone, so it was very nice.

On Monday we went to check out the Natural History Museum and Science Museum. We spent the majority of our day there. In between, we grabbed lunch and afterward we went on a little stroll through the Hyde park and finally back home.

On Tuesday we decided it was time to get some gifts for our friends and family back home. Since my friend has two brothers we went to Lego store to get them something, for our parents and grandparents we went to a souvenir shop to get them gifts. At the end of the day, we went to Victoria's Secret to spend the last few pounds that we had left.We spent our Wednesday inside packing our suitcases, we went to get our last lunch and back to packing. In the evening we went to get a train to the city and the bus back to Luton airport, where we had to wait about six hours for our flight back to Vienna, it was a long wait but we made it. 😌
As I said before, I love London and England in general (as much as I have seen it so far) and I will always love to come back. We were blessed with an amazingly sunny and warm weather the entire time we were there and I can't wait to see other parts of UK that I haven't visited before soon.
Keep On Dreaming.
xoxo
M.
