Medeja's Life

Hi there! 😊

For today's post, I want to talk about a brand called Golden Rose and more specifically about their nail polishes, even though they do other makeup bits as well, like liquid lipsticks, foundations, mascaras, false lashes,... and so much more.

They are my go to brand for nail polish color selection and quality. They have different ranges of polishes like matte, matte satin, ice chic, Paris, ... and I love all of them and I wish I could buy them all, but where would I put them all? 😂

In this post, I will share seven of my favorite shades of Golden Rose nail polishes.

First here are the matte (shade 10)and matte satin (shade NUDE 01) nail lacquer. This two are my favorite shades for pretty much every day.

The next two are from the Paris collection. The pink one is in the shade 92 and the glittery one is in the shade 69. I love the glitter one because you can put any color you want or just wear it on its own, it's beautiful either way.

Last three shades are from the Ice chic collection. I have them in a shade 42, which is a glittery red color, shade 62, which is this gorgeous bronzy-gold color and the last one and my favorite is shade 78, light almost pastel blue color that is just perfect for the summer and I'll be wearing it all summer long.

I always use a base coat with all of them, because some can stain your nails and there is no way of getting them off. I apply two or three coats just to make sure that the pigmentation is as full coverage as it can be and for longer wear, always use a top coat.

I know this post is a bit short, but I just wanted to share my favorite nail polishes with you guys and hopefully, you will try them and enjoy them as much as I do.

Hi there! 😊

Since I knew I'll spend a week in one of my favorite cities in the world, I tried to save as much money as I possibly could before I left. I bought a little metal piggy bank, where I put half of my paycheck every month, all of my tips and any other money any of my family gave me.

In about three or four months I saved around 500€. I had to pay about 250€ for a plane ticket, other transport and a room where we were staying, and about 50€ for food. So I had around 200 that I could spend on whatever I wanted.

!!Disclaimer: I don't want anyone to think that I want to brag about how much money I saved and what I bought. I worked really hard at my job so I could afford this trip and I spent the money on what I wanted, also I have no idea when I'll be able to go back.

First two things I bought are from Boots. I got myself a Barry M matte lip kit in a shade Go To, which looks amazing, I already tried it, it's super smooth, dries so quickly and it's really long wearing which I just love.

The other thing is Maybelline concealer, which all YouTuber that I watch rave about it and I finally know why... because it's amazing!

From The Body Shop, I got a gift set of little travel size (60ml) shower gels.
She loves the gift and may I just say, they smell incredible like everything from The Body Shop.

For my dad's gift, I went to HMV and got him a U2 cd (which he already has and I didn't know    -_-) but he loved it anyway. I also bought myself a Shawn Mendes cd, since I love his music.

I always wanted to try Bleach London products and I finally bought two of them. I bought rose shampoo and conditioner. Honestly, I am not the biggest fan of it. It might still grow on me but will see. I love the fact that it leaves a bit of a pink in your hair(if you're blonde), but it leaves my hair very greasy in some places and it dries them out a bit, but maybe is just because it's a new product and my hair is still not used to it.

Because I'm obsessed with Harry Potter I had to go to the shop at Kings Cross station. I'm a Ravenclaw so of course, I bought myself a t-shirt and a necklace with the Ravenclaw logo, a lanyard with a ticket to Hogwarts and Hermonie's time turner necklace.

In Lush, I bought five of my favorite bath bombs, to make the most of them I break them in half so I can enjoy them more times. I love the fact that is all animal cruelty-free, fresh and handmade which is just the best. Also, the smell and color of their products are

amazing.

My last stop was Victoria's secret. I only bought two things. A bright orangy-pinky sweat-shirt and some black pants with a lace-up front and rolled up bottoms. Both of these are so comfortable I would never want to take it off but it's too warm for wearing them right now, so I'll have to wait for a few more months.

I also bought some magnets, keyrings and postcards but I already gifted them to my family and friends. I hope you guys enjoyed my little haul. 😍

Keep On Dreaming.

Hi there! 😊

I know I have been MIA for a while, but to be totally honest with you I was quite busy with school and work. But I am back and I promise that I'll post as much as I possibly can, before it's school time again.

So recently I have been to London with my best friend. We spent a week in a lovely house which we rented over Airbnb. If you have not heard of the app, it's an app that lets you book a room or a house to stay pretty much every where in the world you travel to. Or if you have an extra room and you want to make some extra money, you can have other people rent it. It's very simple.
Anyway, we stayed at an amazing house, even though we pretty much only slept there.

There were some things that we were sure we'll go and see, since that was the first time for my friend in London and she hasn't seen much of the city. As for me, that was my third time there, but I always love coming back because I fell in love with London since my first trip a few years ago.

I will just take you through our week, tell you what we saw and where we left most of our money. But keep in mind that in the next few days, I will also post a haul of all the things I bought in London, so keep your eyes peeled for that post. 😉

We have arrived on Thursday at the Luton airport. After that, we had about two-hour long journey to the city center. We bought our oyster cards, which is the best and the cheapest way to travel through London.

After that, we still had about an hour to get to the place where we were staying. Be aware that we had three suitcases that we had to carry with us and let me tell you, the next time I will not pack that much, 'cause dragging all that weight with us, was a pain in the a**.When we got to the place, we just had some dinner and after that, we took a shower and went to bed, since it was a long day behind us.

On a Friday we had booked Madame Tussauds in the morning. I love going there every time that I'm in London, just to see how amazing people are at recreating famous people but in wax. It's amazing. After that, we went to Westminster, where we went on a London Eye. We were planning that for some other day, but since there was pretty much no waiting line we just went for it.The view from there is just amazing. Even though I am not the biggest fan of heights I love the view from up there. In between, we went to get some lunch, but after that, we just went to take a walk through the city.

On Saturday we pretty much just walked around, sometimes just walking around the streets getting to know the city away from the most touristy spots is the best. Mostly on the Oxford street, where, let's be honest, I left most of my money in all the stores. The majority of it was left in LUSH, The Body Shop, and HMV.

On Sunday, we dicidet to go on a boat tour to
Greenwich.It was very
spontaneous. When we got off the boat, we found a huge park where everybody had little picnics were just hanging out with each other, so we decided to get some lunch and have our own little picnic and chill time. Honestly, I have never had such a spontaneous trip with anyone, so it was very nice.

On Monday we went to check out the Natural History Museum and Science Museum. We spent the majority of our day there. In between, we grabbed lunch and afterward we went on a little stroll through the Hyde park and finally back home.

On Tuesday we decided it was time to get some gifts for our friends and family back home. Since my friend has two brothers we went to Lego store to get them something, for our parents and grandparents we went to a souvenir shop to get them gifts. At the end of the day, we went to Victoria's Secret to spend the last few pounds that we had left.

We spent our Wednesday inside packing our suitcases, we went to get our last lunch and back to packing. In the evening we went to get a train to the city and the bus back to Luton airport, where we had to wait about six hours for our flight back to Vienna, it was a long wait but we made it. 😌

As I said before, I love London and England in general (as much as I have seen it so far) and I will always love to come back. We were blessed with an amazingly sunny and warm weather the entire time we were there and I can't wait to see other parts of UK that I haven't visited before soon.

Keep On Dreaming.
