Medeja's Life

Hi there! ☺

Today I wanted to talk to you about my favorite brand for skin care, and that is Garnier.
I used to use their stuff when I was younger since I had a lot of problems with spots and acne.
Then I kinda forgot about them, but recently I fell in love with their products again.

First thing is a Pure Active 3 in one face wash, scrub, and mask.It helps get rid off all the spots that are forming and annoying you on your face. When I have a little more tie I use it as a mask, I distribute the product evenly all over my face, leave it on for about 15 minutes and then wash it off. But if I am in a hurry I just use it as a quick wash. Usually, I use it every morning and evening as a scrub. I have noticed a change in my skin after about a month of using it at least once a day.

The next thing I have been loving lately is the sheet face masks that they have brought them out a few months ago. You just take it out of the packaging, put them on your face wait 15 minutes and whats left on you can take a clean cotton pad and wipe it off our massage it into your skin. It leaves your skin extremely soft and moisturized.

I also wanted to talk about three new makeup products in my makeup collection.
First two are from Oriflame. I ordered a matt liquid lipstick in a bright orange shade and a new mascara. The lipstick is very pretty when you put it on and it dries down quite fast and completely matt. What I don't really like is the fact that it doesn't last long, it's not drying on the lips but it comes off very quickly which means you have to reapply it through the day, but I am still obsessed with the color even though is more of a summer shade. The mascara is not one of my favorite ones that I have ever tried, just because I already have very long eyelashes but I still want my mascara to make them even longer this one doesn't do that for me. I think if you have shorter lashes this would be nice and if you are going for a very settle look is perfect. I use it for my lower lashes on a daily basis and it is seriously doing an amazing job on them.

The last thing I want to talk about is the I heart makeup lipstick. it comes in a tube with a little sponge on the end. It was very tricky to figure out how to get the product out of the tube, but once I got it out and tried it on my lips, I fell in love with it. It's such a pretty brown shade that you can wear in the winter, it's not too dar but not too light its the perfect brown shade for me and I have been wearing it all the time.

Hi there! ☺

A few days ago I have received an envelope in my mail with some of the new Oriflame products. I used to love their products but for quite some time I haven't ordered anything from them and kinda forgot about how good their stuff was. Recently I discovered them again got three things to test and share my thoughts and opinions on them with you.

The first thing that I got was a Giordani Gold Eye Brow Gel in the shade brown. It comes in a very simple but cute black packaging with gold details. The brush is soft but not too much so you can nicely brush through your brows and it distributes the product evenly throughout. It sets brow hair and stays on an entire day, but is still very easily removed with some water and soap.

The second thing is the Colourbox Eye Pencil in black. It's just a standard black liner with a white top to cover the tip of the pencil. It slides on so smoothly, it's very pigmented which I love. Sometimes you buy an eye liner and it's hard and has no pigment, but this one is amazing. The only thing that I personally do not like, is the fact that is kinda small and for someone that uses eye liner on a daily basis will probably run out of it very fast. But it is a perfect size for travel.

The last thing is The One 5-in-1 Colour Stylist Cream Lipstick in a shade Rosewood Matte. It comes in this lovely dark shimmery packaging with gold details and it's so cute. The product it self is very soft, pigmented and has that buttery feeling that I love with my lipsticks and it's very comfortable to wear. It is the perfect nude for me and they have a lot of colors to choose from. From shimmery and glittery ones to amazing mattes. It applies so easily and even though you will have to re-apply it throughout the day it is by far the best lipstick that I have tried in a while.

In the end, I am extremely excited that I am using Oriflame cosmetics again, just because they are simply amazing. So make sure you go check their website and try their stuff, you will not regret it!

Hi there! ☺

A few days ago, I have received a little package from essence. Inside there were two lovely products from their new limited range name &the lovely little things, which hit the stores on the 9.8.2017. The collection contains three eyeshadow palettes, face palette, two stick lip balms, nail file, nail stickers and four nail polishes.
They have kindly sent me their new face palette and lip balm stick.

The first thing I tested out was the face palette in a shade 01... &my crazy family. It has the cutest packaging I have ever seen. Inside there are two contour shades, two blushes, and two highlights, so it's suitable for all skin types.

The texture is very smooth and applies and blends very easily, all shades are really nice and pigmented, the highlights are a little more settled, but you can definitely build them up if you would want to.
I have also swatched all shades so you can see how they look on me, but keep in mind I am quite pale. :P

The second thing they have sent me is a stick lip balm in the shade 02...& we kissed. It's a nice, soft peachy colour, which gives your lips a nice settle colour, they are moisturized and soft. Plus it smells like a mango and I love it.

I love both of these products and I can't wait to try the rest of the collection.

Hi there! 😊

For today's post, I want to talk about a brand called Golden Rose and more specifically about their nail polishes, even though they do other makeup bits as well, like liquid lipsticks, foundations, mascaras, false lashes,... and so much more.

They are my go to brand for nail polish color selection and quality. They have different ranges of polishes like matte, matte satin, ice chic, Paris, ... and I love all of them and I wish I could buy them all, but where would I put them all? 😂

In this post, I will share seven of my favorite shades of Golden Rose nail polishes.

First here are the matte (shade 10)and matte satin (shade NUDE 01) nail lacquer. This two are my favorite shades for pretty much every day.

The next two are from the Paris collection. The pink one is in the shade 92 and the glittery one is in the shade 69. I love the glitter one because you can put any color you want or just wear it on its own, it's beautiful either way.

Last three shades are from the Ice chic collection. I have them in a shade 42, which is a glittery red color, shade 62, which is this gorgeous bronzy-gold color and the last one and my favorite is shade 78, light almost pastel blue color that is just perfect for the summer and I'll be wearing it all summer long.

I always use a base coat with all of them, because some can stain your nails and there is no way of getting them off. I apply two or three coats just to make sure that the pigmentation is as full coverage as it can be and for longer wear, always use a top coat.

I know this post is a bit short, but I just wanted to share my favorite nail polishes with you guys and hopefully, you will try them and enjoy them as much as I do.

Keep On Dreaming.

Hi there! 😊

Since I knew I'll spend a week in one of my favorite cities in the world, I tried to save as much money as I possibly could before I left. I bought a little metal piggy bank, where I put half of my paycheck every month, all of my tips and any other money any of my family gave me.

In about three or four months I saved around 500€. I had to pay about 250€ for a plane ticket, other transport and a room where we were staying, and about 50€ for food. So I had around 200 that I could spend on whatever I wanted.

!!Disclaimer: I don't want anyone to think that I want to brag about how much money I saved and what I bought. I worked really hard at my job so I could afford this trip and I spent the money on what I wanted, also I have no idea when I'll be able to go back.

First two things I bought are from Boots. I got myself a Barry M matte lip kit in a shade Go To, which looks amazing, I already tried it, it's super smooth, dries so quickly and it's really long wearing which I just love.

The other thing is Maybelline concealer, which all YouTuber that I watch rave about it and I finally know why... because it's amazing!

From The Body Shop, I got a gift set of little travel size (60ml) shower gels.
She loves the gift and may I just say, they smell incredible like everything from The Body Shop.

For my dad's gift, I went to HMV and got him a U2 cd (which he already has and I didn't know    -_-) but he loved it anyway. I also bought myself a Shawn Mendes cd, since I love his music.

I always wanted to try Bleach London products and I finally bought two of them. I bought rose shampoo and conditioner. Honestly, I am not the biggest fan of it. It might still grow on me but will see. I love the fact that it leaves a bit of a pink in your hair(if you're blonde), but it leaves my hair very greasy in some places and it dries them out a bit, but maybe is just because it's a new product and my hair is still not used to it.

Because I'm obsessed with Harry Potter I had to go to the shop at Kings Cross station. I'm a Ravenclaw so of course, I bought myself a t-shirt and a necklace with the Ravenclaw logo, a lanyard with a ticket to Hogwarts and Hermonie's time turner necklace.

In Lush, I bought five of my favorite bath bombs, to make the most of them I break them in half so I can enjoy them more times. I love the fact that is all animal cruelty-free, fresh and handmade which is just the best. Also, the smell and color of their products are

amazing.

My last stop was Victoria's secret. I only bought two things. A bright orangy-pinky sweat-shirt and some black pants with a lace-up front and rolled up bottoms. Both of these are so comfortable I would never want to take it off but it's too warm for wearing them right now, so I'll have to wait for a few more months.

I also bought some magnets, keyrings and postcards but I already gifted them to my family and friends. I hope you guys enjoyed my little haul. 😍

Keep On Dreaming.

Hi there! 😊

I know I have been MIA for a while, but to be totally honest with you I was quite busy with school and work. But I am back and I promise that I'll post as much as I possibly can, before it's school time again.

So recently I have been to London with my best friend. We spent a week in a lovely house which we rented over Airbnb. If you have not heard of the app, it's an app that lets you book a room or a house to stay pretty much every where in the world you travel to. Or if you have an extra room and you want to make some extra money, you can have other people rent it. It's very simple.
Anyway, we stayed at an amazing house, even though we pretty much only slept there.

There were some things that we were sure we'll go and see, since that was the first time for my friend in London and she hasn't seen much of the city. As for me, that was my third time there, but I always love coming back because I fell in love with London since my first trip a few years ago.

I will just take you through our week, tell you what we saw and where we left most of our money. But keep in mind that in the next few days, I will also post a haul of all the things I bought in London, so keep your eyes peeled for that post. 😉

We have arrived on Thursday at the Luton airport. After that, we had about two-hour long journey to the city center. We bought our oyster cards, which is the best and the cheapest way to travel through London.

After that, we still had about an hour to get to the place where we were staying. Be aware that we had three suitcases that we had to carry with us and let me tell you, the next time I will not pack that much, 'cause dragging all that weight with us, was a pain in the a**.When we got to the place, we just had some dinner and after that, we took a shower and went to bed, since it was a long day behind us.

On a Friday we had booked Madame Tussauds in the morning. I love going there every time that I'm in London, just to see how amazing people are at recreating famous people but in wax. It's amazing. After that, we went to Westminster, where we went on a London Eye. We were planning that for some other day, but since there was pretty much no waiting line we just went for it.The view from there is just amazing. Even though I am not the biggest fan of heights I love the view from up there. In between, we went to get some lunch, but after that, we just went to take a walk through the city.

On Saturday we pretty much just walked around, sometimes just walking around the streets getting to know the city away from the most touristy spots is the best. Mostly on the Oxford street, where, let's be honest, I left most of my money in all the stores. The majority of it was left in LUSH, The Body Shop, and HMV.

On Sunday, we dicidet to go on a boat tour to
Greenwich.It was very
spontaneous. When we got off the boat, we found a huge park where everybody had little picnics were just hanging out with each other, so we decided to get some lunch and have our own little picnic and chill time. Honestly, I have never had such a spontaneous trip with anyone, so it was very nice.

On Monday we went to check out the Natural History Museum and Science Museum. We spent the majority of our day there. In between, we grabbed lunch and afterward we went on a little stroll through the Hyde park and finally back home.

On Tuesday we decided it was time to get some gifts for our friends and family back home. Since my friend has two brothers we went to Lego store to get them something, for our parents and grandparents we went to a souvenir shop to get them gifts. At the end of the day, we went to Victoria's Secret to spend the last few pounds that we had left.

We spent our Wednesday inside packing our suitcases, we went to get our last lunch and back to packing. In the evening we went to get a train to the city and the bus back to Luton airport, where we had to wait about six hours for our flight back to Vienna, it was a long wait but we made it. 😌

As I said before, I love London and England in general (as much as I have seen it so far) and I will always love to come back. We were blessed with an amazingly sunny and warm weather the entire time we were there and I can't wait to see other parts of UK that I haven't visited before soon.

Keep On Dreaming.

Hi there! 😊

Today I wanted to share some of my favourite shampoos. One of them is for pretty much all types of hair and the other two are for the blonds out there.

So let me give you a little back round story on my hair. I have been dying my hair for quite a few years now. The first time was in fifth grade when I dyed my hair red. Ever since then, I've been putting all sorts of hair dyes and different colours on my hair.

My natural hair colour is dark brown, but right now I am super blond. 😁 I have ruined my hair with all the bleaching so now I'm trying to grow out my own hair. I think I am doing quite good. I have not bleached my hair for over six months now and I have to admit, it's been very hard but I did it and my hair or is getting much stronger and healthier now.
                          (My hair right now.)

So that I got my hair healthier these shampoos definitely helped.

The first one that I have been using for years s the Gliss Schwarzkopf Million Gloss shampoo. You can use this one on any colour hair, but I recommend it very much if you have dull hair or hair without shine, it helps so much and I noticed the difference in my hair after first use. 👌🏻
The next one is John Frieda Sheer Blonde colour renew, tone-correcting shampoo. I bought this a few months ago because I wanted to give my blonde hair a  bit more of life and make them a few shades lighter, I wanted the yellow tone out of it. I was a little scared since I have never tried any of John Frieda products, but this shampoo is amazing. It neutralised the yellow under tone on my hair and made them extremely shiny and smooth. ❤️
The last one and my number one right now is the Keune Silver reflex shampoo. I have used this one about 3 years but forgot about it. This, for me, is the best silver shampoo for blondes that want to get that silvery-grey-white colour. I feel like this killed all of the yellowness on my hair and gave it that nice silvery shine and I love it. Also, my hair feels so soft after I use this one and I also noticed that my hair is a lot stronger after the use.

I hope I gave you some inspiration for trying a new shampoo if you haven't used any of these and hopefully they will help you as much as they did to me.😊

Keep On Dreaming.

Hi there! ☺

How are you all doing? 😊 I hope you are having a wonderful day.
Any way, I know i have been MIA for a few weeks, but i was very busy with school and at work.

But I am back with a new blog post for you and it is a little makeup haul/review.

I needed a few things that i have run out of, so I thought I'll share what I bought.😁

I got four things, two from Rimmel London and two from Catrice cosmetics.
The first thing I picked up was my all time favourite setting powder from Rimmel, the Stay matte long lasting pressed powder in the shade 001 Transparent. I have been using this powder for about a year and a half now and I am honestly obsessed with it. It helps my foundation stay on all day and keeps my face from getting oily through out the day. 👌🏻

And speaking of foundation, I also picked up my favourite liquid foundation from Rimmel, the Match  perfection in the lightest shade we have, 103 True Ivory. What I love about it is the fact that blends in with my skin so smoothly, it's easy to apply and blend, it stays on for pretty much all day and also it has an SPF 20 in it so it's perfect for the spring and summer time. 😉

The next thin I picked up is a Liquid camouflage (waterproof) concealer from Catrice in a shade 005 Light Natural (which shows how pale I actually am 😅). I have mixed feelings about this one, because it goes on very smoothly with the applicator, it is very easy to blend, but after about four or five hours it starts to cake up under my eyes and it starts to come off from other places even though I have set it with a powder. I love the coverage that i get with it and it's amazing for a short period of time, so if you don't want that or if bothers you showing some flaws on your skin after a while i do not really recommend it, but personally I don't really care if people see my spots, so i still quiet like it.

The last thing i picked up was a Catrice cosmetics Prime and Fine Beautifying primer. I am in love with this primer. It helps my foundation stay on whole day, my skin looks amazing after I use it because it's pink and contains almost like a tiny shimmer and it looks beautiful, like it says on the packaging it's naturally illuminating and hydrates skin which I love.

At the end I would recommend all of the products because they work amazingly for me and I use hem every day.

Keep On Dreaming
XOXO
